If you’re content with your life, but you can’t shake that voice in your head saying you’ve got more to give, then this blog is for you.
I started this website on the 1st January 2026, with one simple ambition: self-improvement through deliberate discomfort.
Each month in 2026, I will take on a challenge designed to push me into cold water. Through these experiences, I’m trying to better understand my limitations, broaden my perspective on different ideas and cultures, and become more comfortable with feelings such as fear, embarrassment, and failure.
Many of the challenges I will face will test my physical capabilities, whilst others will test my mental strength. Much of the content here will involve adventures and time in the great outdoors, but there’s also room for philosophical thinking, reflection, and even the occasional book review.
But this page is not just about me.
I’m looking to hear from other like minded individuals. Maybe you also look to the outdoors for clarity, or maybe you’d like to share your views on habits, productivity and purpose. Whatever the reason, if something here resonates with you, you can reach out directly to me.
Thanks for taking the time!
